The NSWA+ team has been actively implementing its training and monitoring programs across the six southern provinces of Laos, focusing on the effective use of the electronic customs declaration system. This initiative, carried out between July 22 and August 8, 2025, aimed to equip customs officers, stakeholders, and related entities with the knowledge and skills required to efficiently use the newly developed system, which is crucial for streamlining document inspection, approval, and payment processes.
Training Locations and Participants
The NSWA+ team conducted a series of training sessions and system monitoring activities in the following southern provinces of Laos:
In total, 180 participants from various sectors attended the training, including:
Provincial customs officers and officers stationed at international customs checkpoints such as Phoukeua, Daktaork, Lalay, and Paksitphan.
